Herr och Fru Lohse are crazy cool and crazy smart too;
Jasminka Lohse is beautiful, stylish, fun and like our founder Jemima, she has 20 years of experience in the industry and knows everything that is worth knowing about precious stones and metals.
Prior to starting out on her own, she handled everything from purchases, promotions, signage, sales, repairs, engraving and valuation at a well-known goldsmith. She is also a dab hand with jewellery herself, designing unique and personal wedding rings for muscians and celebrities like The Kaizers Orchestra
When she isn’t touting her own or other peoples creations, she meets her friends, pretends to understand when her sister Jesenka explains what debit and credit are, makes and eats lots of good food, travels abroad to buy shoes from CHANEL or practices yoga with her cat!
Her other half, Micke Lohse is not just a guy who is married to Jasminka. He is also marketing manager at record label National as well as a famous musician playing keyboard in Atomic Swing and as a solo artist under the name Micke from Sweden. If you are lucky you will find him playing the baby grand in the shop.
Herr & Fru Lohse is one of Scandinavia’s most modern and well-known multi-brand jewelry stores. And a highly personalized one, designed by the Lohse couple together with renowned architect Per Söderberg (No Early Birds).
Opened in 2007, the shop is just as cool and stylish as its founders, showing an exclusive select collection of fine jewellery from all the best designers (ourselves included of course) like Danish brands By Birdie and Ole Lynggaard and Swedish fine jewellery classic Engelbert. They also take care of alterations, repairs, engravings and pearl re-stringing. Basically anything to fulfill your wishes and requirements.
They renovated the shop carefully characterized by their interest in design, music, and jewelry, says co-founder Jasminka Lohse, partner, Mr. Lohse, is also a musician and his grand piano meets the visitors in the entrance.
As a complement to their jewellery you can also find hand-blown glass collections from the glass artists Anna-Lena, Nilla and Ulla from Storsjöhyttan in Östersund (Jemima particularly loves the blown glass chandelier hanging in the shop) and a standing photo exhibition of photographer Lennart Jonasson's black and white portrait pictures of Swedish and world music artists.
As you might imagine from such a stylish pair they also arrange interesting invitationals with live music and DJ's, drinks and inspirational speakers for all the great and good of Stockholm.
